Galeria de Muerte (Tokyo, Japan) is currently hosting a gallery exhibition titled, “Ultimate Underground,” through the end of December. The exhibit features over 200 underground death/black metal and grindcore fanzine covers, published between the mid 80s through the 90s,  from all over the world. I have contributed several of my ‘zine cover illustrations, from the early 90s, for display in the exhibit. 7″ EP cover artwork for unholy Canadian black metal desecrators, BURIALKULT! Their debut 7″ will be published by the cult Swedish death metal label, Blood Harvest, sometime next year. Christians beware.

It’s time to introduce my latest musical endeavor, MACABRA. This is a death metal collaboration between myself (all instruments) and Belgian vocalist, Adrien “Liquifier” Weber (VOCIFERIAN, CONJURATOR, ALIENANTE DAMNATION, etc.) We have set forth in the old death metal vein with our debut demo tape, “Thy Entrails Rot.” The demo is distributed only by Hell’s Headbangers and comes with an embroidered logo patch, button, poster, and lyric sheet. When I heard that Dark Descent Records (USA) was going to publish the TIMEGHOUL demos on CD I immediately volunteered my services. TIMEGHOUL, a band whom I was once in touch with in the early 90s, was (and still is) one of my favorite death metal bands of all time. This highly underrated and underground act wrote and recorded music way ahead of their time. Uncompromising, avant garde, and absolute creative brilliance sums up TIMEGHOUL’s approach. The CD edition will be coming soon from Dark Descent as well as an LP version published by The Crypt Records (USA) early next year. If you miss out on this release you will be missing out on one of the most important releases in death metal history.
