I was recently tasked by my twin brother, Mike, to illustrate a cover for one of my favorite bands, STRIKE MASTER, from Mexico. Metalhit.com, my brother’s record label, will be releasing STRIKE MASTER’s “Vicious Nightmare” full-length album on CD format for distribution in North America. Galeria de Muerte (Tokyo, Japan) is currently hosting a gallery exhibition titled, “Ultimate Underground,” through the end of December. The exhibit features over 200 underground death/black metal and grindcore fanzine covers, published between the mid 80s through the 90s, from all over the world. I have contributed several of my ‘zine cover illustrations, from the early 90s, for display in the exhibit. My first fanzine cover illustration is one among the many covers pictured below.
